Wallingford AFC XI 2 - 1 Wantage Town 'A'
In memory of Charlie Allum, Wallingford AFC held a memorial game against Wantage Town A on 20th August. A Wallingford team featuring both of Charlies son's Chris and Andy lined up along with guest players of the Charlies managing era including Tito Rodriguez, Carl Fisher, Adam Strudwick and Mark Bonner.
While not a Cholsey United game, it is the clubs honour to host the pictures of the event which will now be played annually with funds raised going to the AMMF who specialise in the research into cholangiocarcinoma cancer that Charlie was diagnosed with.
With Wallingford winning the game, Charlies daughter Nicky presented the shield to her brother and team captain Chris.
